We realize finding a church home can be difficult. We want to help as much as possible.

Welcome to Sachse's Church.  We are honored that you would take a few moments to see what we are all about. This website is designed with you in mind. Our hope is that it gives you everything you need to know before visiting SC. If you have questions or would like to meet with one of our pastors before a service just email us and we can set that up.

Many people have questions when they first visit a church. We want you to know this is not anything you need to worry about. We are a simple, relational church. People often remark how friendly Sachse's Church is, and we have all been to new places before. Listed below you will find some of the basic information you will want to know before arriving.

"Are you equipped to assist the impaired?"

We are. We have many parking spaces close to the doors for the handicapped as well as wide aisles and restrooms. Our facility is also equipped with a hearing assistance system.

"Where do we park?"

We have designated guest parking in the large west parking lot off Dewitt. It is easy to find and close to the Sanctuary and the sidewalk. If you have children, you may want to park on the east side of the buildings as the children check-ins are closer to that side. No matter what door on our campus you enter, there will be someone there to greet you and lead you to your next location.

"What kind of people will I find at Sachse's Church?"

The church is a great community filled with a love for God and a love for people. We are open to all races, ages, and life stages at SC. Here you’ll find that you can have unity without conformity.

"If I visit will I be put on the spot or called out?"

No. We do try to be friendly and warm, and chances are someone will say hello to you if they do not know you, but it is never our objective to embarrass you or call attention to you. We will ask that you fill out a small card that will allow us to get more information to you. If you don’t want to, that’s cool; we still appreciate you checking us out.

"How does everyone dress?"

Everyone is encouraged to come in whatever attire they feel most comfortable. For a few, that will mean slacks and a tie, for most it means jeans and a polo.  For the most part, we are more “Old Navy” than we are “Old School,” but you’ll feel right at home no matter what you wear.

"What is the music like?"

In a world that has drawn a line between contemporary and traditional worship, we seem to walk the line. The majority of our worship would be classified as a contemporary (Hillsong, Chris Tomlin, Steve Fee, etc.), but we still love the theological depth and poetic beauty contained in hymns.

"Will the preaching put me to sleep?"

That all depends on your bed time the night before. Sachse's Church teaching strives to always be Biblical, consistently applicable, and occasionally humorous.

"Are you affiliated with any denomination?"

We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention nationally and the Southern Baptist of Texas state wide. This affiliation allows us to take part and support the largest missions organizations in the world as well as the second largest relief effort.

"What Sunday morning activities do you have for children?"

Our Children’s Ministry is saturated with loving and caring teachers who engage and encourage children. Fun and truthful Bible lessons are taught during the Small Group hour, and lesson themes continue through the morning worship service at 10:30am in our birth – kindergarten classes.

Children, 1st - 3rd Grade will be dismissed during Worship Gathering to take part in KidChurch.  Voluteers will get them where they need to go and return them to their parents at the end of the Worship Gathering.

Kids 4th grade and older take part in the entire 10:30am Worship Gathering.

"Do you have a membership class?"

We do; it is called the Connext Class. Click here to learn more about CONNEXT.
